From Austin to Prague, from San Francisco to London, Freddie "Steady" Krc has plied his musical trade for more than twenty years. Decendant from a line of talented Czechoslovakian musicians, Freddie has kept the family tradition alive by providing his music to people all over the globe. His drum playing has provided the "Steady" beat for Jerry Jeff Walker and the Gonzo Compadres for many years. He has also fronted several of his own bands and played back up for artists as diverse as Carole King and Roky Erickson . Many of Freddie's former bands as well as his current band, The Shakin' Apostles are featured in this site.
